Is there an iOS or Android app to download?
AssessHub is a progressive web app rather than an app-store download. Open it in Safari or Chrome and add it to your home screen — it then runs full-screen like a native app, works offline and updates itself, with no app-store approval delays and nothing for IT to deploy.
What happens if I lose signal halfway through an assessment?
Nothing is lost. Answers, photos and video are stored on the device as you capture them and queued for upload. When signal returns the queue uploads in the background, and anything that fails is retried rather than dropped.
How much can I store offline before it becomes a problem?
Plenty for a normal day’s work — dozens of photos and video clips per assessment. The app shows a soft warning as the queue approaches the recommended limit so you can find signal before it becomes an issue, and installing to the home screen gives you noticeably more reliable storage than a browser tab.
Can I record video on site?
Yes. Clips of up to 20 seconds at 1080p attach to an observation. In the PDF report each clip appears as a poster frame with a QR code and a permanent link, so the client can watch it from a printed page.
Does it work on a tablet as well as a phone?
Yes — phone, tablet and desktop all work from the same seat. Most assessors capture on a phone or tablet on site and finish the write-up on a laptop.
